Christmas Information

'Tis The Season!

Here at The River's Edge, we look forward to welcoming the holiday season and creating a wonderful atmosphere for both guests and staff. Starting October 1st we will be starting our Winter Menu which will showcase local and seasonal winter produce.

 (This Winter Menu will also run November & December meaning Christmas bookings can pre-order from this menu). However alongside this wonderful menu there will be ‘Set’ Christmas specials which will run from Tues 1st Dec, all week for lunch and can be included when pre ordering.  (These will be on our website by mid-September).

Before booking any Christmas tables we urge you to read the following list of rules and requirements surrounding the holiday season, to ensure you receive the best service we can offer:
 

• Any table bookings of 2 – 8 covers can book directly online. If you are a table of 8 -12 covers, please email Jamie-theriversedge@outlook.com with the relevant information or call us on 01202 113377.

• Tables of 12 maximum for Lunch service / A PRE-ORDER WILL BE REQUESTED for tables of 8+.
   

• Tables of 8+ will be asked to pay a £10 deposit per person.
   

• Tables booked for Lunch will have 2 hours at your table.
   

• Lunch tables will need to be finished and off site by 4:30pm the very latest as we need to respect our neighbours and, on a Friday, be ready for evening service.
   

• Please specify all dietary requirements on your pre-orders.
   

• A 10 % service charge will be added to all tables throughout December, please ask if you wish for this to be removed.

Please try to be punctual to enable you to spend the maximum time at your designated table. We are well known for our beautiful, seasonally decorated restaurant; so please refrain from table decorations. Unfortunately we will NOT have corkage on the wine.

On the 29th, 30th, 31st December and the 2nd & 3rd of January we will be offering a Brunch menu ONLY. 

This will run from 9am - 2pm.
